Random

I've been a bad blogger. The last time I updated was 1,5 week ago, and it's not because I don't want to blog! It's just... This is how my last two weeks looked like:

Oh, and also uhm, this:

(Don't mind my face)
Yeah, that pretty much sums up what I have been doing lately. Exams start on June 10th, and I'm not ready at all. I have 7 exams, which is quite a lot!  It's all very interesting, but nobody likes studying all day long, I think.

I will try to blog a few times before exams start, as a sort of break between the studying, but once exams have started I think it's best that I shut down my computer and lock it up in my closet or something. Seriously, internet is so addictive! And also: dangerous for my wallet, because I saw some shoes and dresses I like in the New Look sale. And a coat on Etsy. And a few pairs of shoes on the Topshop website. And... Ahem. It's a good thing I don't have a visa card, so I always have to ask my mum to buy it for me ("Another pair of shoes??? Don't you have enough now???").

Also totally random: I want this:

Blackberry Curve 9300
After I have been using boyfriend's Blackberry for a few weeks, I really want one for myself now!

God, I really have to start saving money from now on...

Now, back to work!

New shoes!

OMGOMGOMGOMG-moment of the day: Those green shoes I was drooling over last week? Those who were sold out in my size EVERYWHERE?

I asked for my size in the store and the ZARA guy (my hero) went upstairs and came back with my pair. It was like he came down from heaven, haha! I almost kissed The Shoes (yes, they deserve a capital) when he gave me them. My boyfriend probably thought I was becoming crazy, but who cares? I was happy all day, so he can't complain.

I just love looking down on these! They're the perfect shade of green (this photo is more close to the real colour, they really are bright green), I like to call it 'Lacoste green': My boyfriend wore his green Lacoste polo today and a couple of people said we were totally matchy-matchy!

LOVE.

What I don't love is this:

Excuse me to put photos of my feet on the internet, but lucky for you I'm not showing you everything: I have another two Blisters (They are so big they deserve a capital letter, yes) on my right foot so yes, that sucks.

But still: love them. I think I just have to break them in. When I put them on this morning, I thought it would be alright to wear them all day, but NO, it wasn't. I hope the blisters are gone in a few days because I have a family party on Sunday and I would love to wear my darlings then.

I bet you're all tired of these shoes by now, aren't you?

I know that the pointed toe was disturbing me a little when I wrote about them last week, but as Annebeth said, they look great with a retro skirt! I don't really like them with jeans, but that's not really a problem for me as I wear skirt and dresses all the time lately!

Now I'm off to do some studying, cooking and a bath for my poor feet! ;)

Marrakech

First of all: I wanted to do a post about vintage cars, but today I had my driving test and I failed (because of a stupid reason, I was quite angry), so for the moment I just hate cars and driving. So that post will have to wait until uhm, August or something.

Instead, I needed something to cheer me up, and what does make you more happy than a holiday? Okay, there are a few things that make me even more happy. But at the moment I could really use this:

My boyfriend and I are dreaming of going to Marrakech this summer. Morocco is such a beautiful country (I've visited it once, three years ago with my parents) and we both study Arabic, so it would be great if we could go there!

I've posted this photo before, but I really like this, it's the Medersa Ben Youssef in Marrakech, sooo beautiful!

The souks of Marrakech, I could walk there for days (and shop, of course!)
Amazing designs.
I'm just drooling over these beautiful 'riads' in Marrakech, I really can't choose where I would stay:

If you didn't know this site www.airbnb.com, you should absolutely check it out! It's really great if you're looking for a place to stay on your holiday. I already found lots of cheap and beautiful hotels, apartments etc. through this website. You can rent someone's apartment or a room in his/her house for a small price (Ok, there are expensive ones too.) and it gives you the opportunity to get to know local people! I don't know about you, but I'm not the kind of person who likes to lie on his ass at the pool of his all-inclusive 5 star hotel. I prefer discovering the nature, local culture and the people! Certainly when I'm in an Arab country, where I can speak with the locals in their own language.

I already know that I'll do a lot of shopping over there, in the souks where they sell amazing decorating stuff. I also like the haggling, it's so nice when you get a good price for something that they ask way too much for! And because I'm a red haired girl, they will 'make a special price for me'! ;) Seriously, the last time I was there, guys were actually staring and pointing at me, I felt highly flattered!

Still drooling...
Now I just need some sponsoring! Pretty please, mum?

PS: Are you going on holiday this summer? Please tell me where ;)

Green love

love these green shoes from ZARA:

Don't you just love the colour? The perfect shade of green. I'm very happy that with the current colour blocking trend, there are a lot of brightly coloured shoes in stores. And I bought a few clothes lately who would perfectly match with these beauties.

The downside: the pointed toe. I know it's back 'in', but I don't really like it. And if I'd buy them, it's possible that I hate them by next year. So what should I do?

I've searched for other green shoes, but haven't found a nice pair yet...

To make it even more difficult for me, ZARA decided to sell these in yellow too:

I want them in both colours now. The fact that they're just €39,99 doesn't help either!
To buy or not to buy, that's the question...

Childhood Memories

Someone lately told me that I haven’t changed since I was a little girl. This was quite a shock to me, because I really have changed since then! Sure, I still like the same things (excuse the quality of some of the photos):
I love hanging around with all my friends:

I've always loved playing music:

I loved dressing up and posing:

Reading was already one of my hobbies long ago:

As much as calling my friends:

And sleeping:

Luckily, I'm not totally the same anymore. For example, I hate gardening:

And cleaning is my arch enemy:

I managed to eat without making a mess:

Thank God I still like cute polka dot dresses!

Haha.

Tonight my boyfriend's sister is making dinner for us! We're so spoilt. She has an apartment in Brussels, so maybe I can go for some shopping while I'm there! Yes.
